Dada Carrots

Simple and yummy recipe. Since you fry the carrots for a longer time the natural sweetness comes through and almost caramelises the carrots. Also garlic becomes soft and gives just a hint of a different taste. Beautiful side dish for almost any meal. Recipe found here.

Ingredients:

  • 300 gr carrots
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • olive oil
  • salt, pepper
  • fresh parsley

Preparation:

Peel and slice the carrots. Put some olive oil and fry the carrots for around 10-15 minutes. Add the sliced cloves of garlic and stir occasionally. Salt and pepper to taste. Fry another 5-10 minutes making sure you don’t burn the garlic. Serve sprinkled with fresh chopped parsley.
