Nutella Muffins

These are easy, fast to make and delicious. Ours disappeared in one day. They are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Originally it’s a Donna Hay recipe but I found it on this blog: moje wypieki. This recipe makes 12 muffins.

Ingredients:

  • 140 g soft (unsalted) butter
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar (or little bit less)
  • 3 eggs
  • half a spoon vanilla extract
  • 1 and 3/4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • nutella

Preparation:

Beat/mix the butter until it fluffs up. Add sugar, vanilla extract and mix again until well combined. Add eggs, one at a time and mix it in each time. Then add flour mixed with baking powder. The consistency will be quite thick but it’s supposed to be that way. Pre heat your oven to 170C. Prepare the muffin forms. Fill in each form 2/3 height and add a teaspoon or two of nutella on top. You can use a matchstick to do swirls on top. Bake around 25 minutes.
